The Home Depot Partners With Buildertrend to Serve Pro Contractor Customers
The Home Depot teams up with one of the world's leading construction management programs.
The Home Depot recently announced a partnership with Buildertrend, a popular construction management software firm, to better serve its pro customers. The deal allows The Home Depot to integrate its Pro Xtra loyalty program into Buildertrend software, giving construction pros greater convenience when shopping for materials for their projects.
The integration brings a few new features to the Buildertrend software.
Buildertrend users who are part of The Home Depot’s Pro Xtra program can make purchases within the Buildertrend software based on real-time stock levels at local Home Depot locations. The software features a new tool that helps users track and organize their digital and physical receipts based on the project they were purchased for. Buildertrend users will also qualify for increased savings on items purchased frequently from The Home Depot.
“Professional contractors tell us they’re busier than ever, many with months of backlogged jobs,” said Hector Padilla, executive vice president of sales and service for The Home Depot. “This new integrated platform with Buildertrend will help contractors manage their businesses more efficiently and profitably by giving them access to The Home Depot’s Pro pricing and other benefits.”
On top of the other existing benefits, Home Depot Pro Xtra members are now eligible for up to a 10 percent discount on Buildertrend’s cloud management software. Buildertrend is one of the leading construction management systems for home builders, remodelers and specialty contractors, with more than one million customers across 100 countries worldwide.
“This integration advances our focus on providing adaptive and intuitive technology designed to boost our customers’ profitability and efficiency,” said David Arnold, chief strategy officer at Buildertrend. “Buildertrend users who are Pro Xtra members will experience The Home Depot’s first end-to-end purchasing integration with a construction project management software.”
