Grab your finest cigars and light up the Phantom. Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has released a luxury humidifier to house your premium fumes and favorite spirits. Called the Rolls-Royce Cellarette, it’s an all-in-one cigar and whiskey chest made with motorized components and lavish materials. The price of the cellar starts at $ 61,085 and increases if you choose to customize it.
“As with the other pieces in our collection, the Cellarette can be personalized using engraved plaques, leather colors and matching wood finishes. [your] automotive, ”said Gerry Spahn, Americas communications manager at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars. Cigar lover.
The standard and bespoke versions of the Cellarette offer the ultimate party trick. With the push of a button, the cigar and whiskey chest compartments pop open and warm ambient light is emitted from inside. A serving tray rises from the polished aluminum and leather-bound unit, showcasing a pair of mouth-blown glasses inside. The rock sunglasses, featuring the Rolls-Royce “RR” logo, pivot outward when the chest opens fully. The serving tray is finished in an open pore wood veneer called “Obsidian Ayous”, with an inlay of the brand’s “Spirit of Ecstasy” logo.
As the glassware is revealed, a bottle holder and a cellar lined with Spanish cedar simultaneously emerge at each end of the chest. The cellar’s wooden tray comfortably accommodates four Churchill-sized toros or cigars, with space behind the tray for Boveda packs or a humidifying bar.
Rolls Royce enthusiasts will note that the hygrometer design, located on the side of the cylindrical cellar, is a tribute to the Rolls-Royce Phantom’s “Indulge” dashboard clock.
The cigar humidor also has two magnetic clips: an ashtray and a small container housing an ST Dupont lighter and a guillotine cutter. Both accessories are engraved with a Rolls-Royce “Spirit of Ecstacy” motif. The lighter is a palladium-plated Le Grand ST Dupont, the high-end model of the French company, capable of producing both a soft double flame and an imposing blue torch flame.
On the other side of the Cellarette is the leather-lined bottle holder, finished with a polished aluminum clip, which holds your favorite spirits, whiskey or whatever, magnetically in place.
The Rolls-Royce Cellarette is made at the same factory in Goodwood, West Sussex, where the company’s luxury cars are handcrafted. This is the latest addition to Rolls-Royce’s super premium ‘Lifestyle Collection’, an assortment of home, travel and leisure items.
“The Cellarette is assembled in our bespoke workshop at Goodwood, the home of Rolls-Royce,” explains Spahn. “Our Lifestyle collection contains many luxury creations from the Bespoke Collective at Goodwood; champagne basket, picnic basket, smaller versions of our cars and various collections of handcrafted luggage.
According to Spahn, you don’t have to live in the UK to get your hands on the Rolls-Royce Cellarette. It is available for purchase worldwide.
“The Rolls-Royce Cellarette is available in North America as well as around the world from authorized Rolls-Royce retailers. “
Now the only question is: what cigars would you put in it?
