Drawing on its expertise in the hotel and catering industry and decades of experience in designing live shows and events, the company weaves a hotel approach through facilities at different scales, including: two typologies VIP suites, an invitation-only lounge bar, a bar and craft brewery, a gourmet restaurant, a club and event space on the top floor and a modern dining room. Each offering takes guests on a unique journey, infusing the excitement of live events with the uniqueness of the Pacific Northwest using local materials.
Rockwell Group has created remarkable sports projects that combine shared social spaces with immersive storytelling, such as the MetLife Stadium club and suite series in New Jersey, the new training center for the Dolphins which opened in the summer of 2021 and the Green Bay Packers Hall of Fame. Now, that of Seattle Climate Pledge Arena builds on these efforts and is an unprecedented 750,000 square foot arena designed with the future of live events in mind.

CLUB TUNNELS SUITES
The residential-style Tunnel Club Suites have been designed to provide a personal and theatrical connection with the play and preparation rituals for going out on the field or on the ice. From each suite, guests can watch players walk through a tunnel from the locker rooms. Seen through a one-way mirror, the passageways are equipped with LED screens. Suite holders have direct tunnel access to their dedicated seat inside the arena.
Cantilevered above the toilet, the private suites can accommodate 16 people each. Inspired by a Seattle Loft, the suites have a wet bar and kitchen area defined by a porcelain stone backsplash and sloping wooden ceiling sloping towards a view of the arena.
Additionally, located at the southwest and southeast corners of the arena’s PitchBook Suite level, two 35-foot-long interactive rocking disc walls use custom software and depth-sensing cameras to respond. the gestures and movements of the guests. It also features other real-time visuals that respond to the action in the arena, all on an innovative and highly durable display. THE IMPERIAL SALON MOËT ET CHANDON
Five intimate-scale rooms frame views of the bowl through largely vaulted openings. The upscale finishes of the private restaurant are inspired by upscale interpretations of the traditional repertoire of outdoor enthusiasts: a checkered marble mosaic floor, charred wood walls reminiscent of a campfire, and lighting inspired by the outdoors. lanterns. On the bar side, design touches include leather benches and velvet curtains. The side dining rooms are complemented by dramatic lighting, oak walls and stone floors.
The Verizon Lounge is an invitation-only lounge and nightclub, a “secret” party space under the arena where owners and players can entertain guests, inspired by an upscale version of that of Seattle historic underground passages. Plush niches wrap guests in emerald velvet draperies and feature a series of barrel-vaulted lounge spaces that orient towards a central bar. The sophisticated palette includes a vaulted ceiling, smoked mirrors, and brass screens that offset the dark wall panels.
THE SYMETRA CLUB AND THE WAFd BANK CLUB (Bar and Craft Brewery)
Seating from 1,300 to 1,700 guests, Symetra and WaDf Bank clubs feature a bar flanked by communal gathering areas, specialty food counters and a craft brewery. Drawing from industrial spaces found in Seattle, like Gas Works Park, the club features corrugated steel, white sided oak, reclaimed brick, woven steel mesh, and paneled concrete. A central illuminated backlit double-height bar dominates the space, adding a voyeuristic element where guests can ‘see and be seen’ from multiple levels and vantage points. The lobby of the suite above is designed to resemble a walkway or suspension bridge, while the craft beer area, inspired by that of Seattle Pike’s Place Market features bright, scalloped lights and bold signage.
SPACE NEEDLE LOUNGE (Cocktail bar and Event space)
Located on the top floor, the living room offers views of the iconic Space Needle through an oversized skylight. The intimate club doubles as an event space, and features cascading curtains of blue ombre velvet offset by brass finishes and exposed concrete.
CLUB MOUNT BAKER (dining room):
Mount Baker Club is a modern dining hall designed to showcase that of Seattle robust culinary offerings. Bold signage, painted concrete floors, and custom murals by local artists add an industrial touch. Five food stalls, including a vintage Airstream trailer, offer wine and whiskey bars, pizzas, sandwiches and desserts. Slatted windows bring in daylight and views into the club from the outside plaza.
Climate Pledge Arena is scheduled to open to the public on 22 October 2021.
