The accused, identified as Prabhakar Sharman, allegedly yelled at Valmiki Rao and attacked him saying he had entered the forbidden area of ​​the temple.

The officer added, “A case was filed against the priest the next day. The police considered it an unrecognized offense and sought legal advice after the complaint was registered, following which Sections 323 and 504 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) were imposed. Police said the matter is being further investigated.
