Peacock Group Announces New Hire, Promotion


The Peacock Group (TPG), based in Little Rock, has hired Allyson Pittman Gattin as director of public relations, a new role for the agency, and promoted Amy Westlake to head of public relations. Gattin and Westlake have nearly 25 years of combined experience in the public relations industry.

“As we approach our eighth anniversary, TPG continues to provide our clients with the most creative, mission-driven communication strategies that leave a lasting impression,” said Denver Peacock, founder and director of The Peacock Group, in a statement. “With the addition of the expanded role of Allyson and Amy, we will continue to meet our customers’ needs and expand our capabilities and offerings.”

Gattin has nearly 12 years of experience in the non-profit and for-profit industries. She most recently served as Director of Marketing and Public Relations at CARTI, where she led the communications strategy for the statewide cancer care provider. Gattin serves on the board of Central Arkansas Diaper Bank, a community resource that provides free diapers to families in need, and is a graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock (Class XXXII). She graduated from the University of Missouri School of Journalism and recently earned her accreditation in public relations (APR), becoming the third generation in her family to do so.

Westlake has been a member of The Peacock Group since May 2018. She focuses on media relations, content creation, social media and event planning. Prior to joining TPG in 2018, she was Communications Manager and Director of Marketing and Audience Engagement at Arkansas Repertory Theater and Development Coordinator for Make-A-Wish Mid-South. Passionate about sports, she spent three years in the sports department of THV11 as a journalist, photographer and producer of Hog Zone.

A graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, she is a graduate of Leadership Greater Little Rock (Class XXXIII). She and her husband, Drew, have a son, Liam.
