Milwaukee Bucks celebrate NBA Finals win with cigars

After losing back-to-back games to the Phoenix Suns to start the NBA Finals, the Milwaukee Bucks rolled off four straight wins to claim the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy for the second time. To celebrate, as most champions do, the team smoked Cubans Romeo y Julieta Wide Churchill while spraying champagne in the locker room.

Giannis Antetokounmpo, the league’s two-time MVP, was the main distributor of Cuban smokes. The “Greek Freak,” who scored 50 points, tying the 6th most in NBA Finals history, can be seen on the internet smoking a Romeo while handing out the smoke with an open box. You can see the video below:

The six-foot-eleven, 242-pound star has long been awaiting his debut championship. After being criticized for not joining a “Super Team”, the Greek player saw help from Khris Middleton, Jrue Holiday, Bobby Portis and others to defeat the Phoenix Suns in a 105-98 victory.

The victory was certainly not the first time a Championship team had smoked. In the fall, the Tampa Bay Bucs smoked with Tom Brady at the helm, and some of the biggest champions like Michael Jordan and Lebron James have turned on in the past as well.

Kudos to the Milwaukee Bucks for winning it all and choosing top quality fumes to light. Here’s another video of the final MVP thrilling the Cuban in the post-match celebration:
