It has been a difficult few weeks for Manchester United.
The Red Devils have collected just one point in their last two Premier League games, with Monday’s 1-0 loss to Wolverhampton Wanderers being a very serious opportunity for the club and their fans.
It was the first taste of Ralf Rangnick’s loss as manager and the team’s performance on the night at Old Trafford was absolutely appalling.
United looked disjointed and devoid of ideas throughout the park, with Wolves fully deserving of their victory. On the contrary, the score really flattered the hosts.
The day after this match, various reports detailed the troubles in the Red Devils locker room.
the Daily mail even claimed that up to 17 players are unhappy with the club and may be looking to exit in the near future.
United are again in full-blown crisis mode, but some members of the squad are now choosing to make their voices heard on social media in an attempt to defuse the situation.
As we reported HERE, midfielder Fred was the first to do so on Friday night and Saturday, Marcus Rashford released a rather moving statement in which he made it clear his respect for Rangnick for all to see.
Rashford statement amid Man Utd crisis
Rashford wrote: “We have all been disappointed with recent performances and we have been disappointed by the media coverage questioning our commitment not only to the manager and the coaching staff, but to the club as well.
“I have infinite respect for both and look forward to improving my game with the Manchester United staff.
âI’m not sulking, I’m not miserable, am I disappointed with some of my recent performances? Of course I am. I’m my own biggest critic.

“It was a tough start, but I’m determined to prove my worth. My dedication and desire to be here should never be questioned. I love this club.”
Nicely worded, Marcus.
Rashford has really struggled for form this season after recovering from injury so he’s been the center of a lot of criticism.
But there is no doubt that the Englishman’s commitment to United and a player with his enormous talent will undoubtedly rebound in the near future.
