Liana Fuente resigns from Arturo Fuente Cigar Co.


After 15 years with one of the largest family-owned cigar operations in the premium segment, Liana Fuente is resigning from Arturo Fuente Cigar Co. effective September 1. She served as Vice President of Brand Development and is the daughter of the company’s patriarch. and owner Carlos Fuente Jr.

“Working alongside my father has been one of the most rewarding and challenging aspects of my time at the company,” Fuente said. “Being such a creative genius, he laid the foundation for what is known today as Fuente Look. Along the way, I had the chance to take the reins of so many projects and had the opportunity to create new ones.

Fuente first learned about the cigar world from her grandfather, the late Carlos A. Fuente Sr., who hired her and taught her about the many aspects of the industry. Later, she moved into the marketing side of the business, focusing on brand development, corporate marketing and advertising initiatives.

Despite his resignation, Fuente will still be an active board member of C. Fuente Holdings Inc. and the company’s Cigar Family Charitable Foundation.
