The Kaizer Chiefs beat Maritzburg United 2-0 on Wednesday to finish third in the PSL mission staged at FNB Stadium in Johannesburg.
It took only 36 minutes for Amakhosi to open the scoring thanks to Khama Billiat who tapped on a pass from Njabulo Blom. It was the only goal of the first half despite the many chances created by both teams.
With 10 minutes remaining, the striker became the outfitter, this time appointing substitute Nkosingiphile Ngcobo who had replaced Phathutshedzo Nange in the 73rd minute.
