GALESBURG, Michigan – (COMMERCIAL THREAD) – Power management company Eaton today announced that its vehicle group has released two aftermarket ELocker differentials for the 2018 and newer and newer Jeep® Wrangler JL and 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator® JT equipped both manual and automatic transmissions. Electric locking differentials are a reliable option for off-road enthusiasts, requiring only one wire to operate and requiring no additional components such as air lines and compressors.
The Eaton ELocker® differential is an electronically locking differential designed for drivers who want full control and traction on demand. It features mesh forged gears providing the strength and durability needed for off-road and recreational riding, while its electronic controls provide driver-selectable operation and increased reliability over similar air-operated products. With the flick of a switch on the instrument panel, the differential sends all available torque to all wheels equally, providing maximum traction to overcome difficult terrain.
âJeep enthusiasts are dedicated to their vehicles and many are eager to customize them,â said Corneliu Bogdan, Director of Aftermarket Product Strategy, Eaton’s Vehicle Group North America. “Our new reliable ELocker® differentials for Jeep Wrangler JL and Gladiator JT models feature a simple push-button, allowing drivers to quickly switch from highway driving to off-road traction.”
