Arua Hill Sports Club management has officially launched the Kongolo Fan E-Card.
This was launched at L’Hotel Confidential in the city of Arua on Saturday, February 5, 2022.
The club’s president, engineer Joel Jaffar Aita, officially presented the Kongolo fan card at the same event the club announced title sponsor Kansai Plascon.
According to Aita, this initiative is aimed at the registration and identification of the club’s supporters, among other objectives.
“The Kongolo fan card is a strategy to help register and identify our fans. Fans can also use this card to purchase goods and obtain certain services. We have partnered with bars, restaurants and supermarkets where our fans with these cards can also use the card to get discounted service” Eng. Aita revealed.
These cards will be classified into three categories: gold, silver and bronze.
There are designated places where fans can get these Kongolo Cards like Arua Hill Headquarters, Development Infrastructure (DI) Offices in Arua as well as Kampala.
Meanwhile, at the same event, the idea of Kongolo Sports city was officially launched.
Spectators of all persuasions, including club and non-club supporters, can purchase plots of land measuring 50 X 100 feet at Shs. 5,000,000 each.
These plots are accompanied by land titles and plans of the house to be built.
The Kongolo Sports City will have various recreational facilities with football, motorsport, basketball, volleyball courts and a swimming pool.
The idea of Kongolo City started in Arua City and is expected to spread to the entire West Nile region, other parts of the country and South Sudan.
On the same day, Arua Hill announced a three-year partnership with Kansai Plascon-worthy paint gurus Shs. 500,000,000.
Kansai Plascon thus becomes the official jersey sponsor of the Kongolos.
