For those of you who work outside in winter you know how miserable it is to have cold feet. Being on your feet all day is tough enough without the pain of cold toes. Here is the last of three OSHA-approved boots we tried that are designed to keep you warm, dry and comfortable on winter days.
If you want happy feet at the end of a long day check out this latest offering from Carhartt. For more details on these great boots and where to buy them, click the “shop now” link below.

Carhartt Pac Boot
I see these boots as sort of a modern take on the old loggers boots. They quickly lace up 10 inches high with hybrid lace enclosures that cinch to a good fit. The lower boot is a polyurethane coated leather while the upper is mostly oil tanned leather. Here’s how you can care for your boots in the winter.
Inside the boot there’s a waterproof breathable membrane with 1000g of insulation, which means they are plenty warm and stay dry in the wettest conditions. Inside the generous rubber protection on the heel, ankle and toe, there are composite guards to thwart injury.
Other features include a removable EVA insole for custom fitting and large comfortable top cuff. I wore these these boots for a couple of outdoor winter work weekends and found them pretty stiff initially but they loosened up after a couple days and felt great. So, I would say the next time you “pull on your Carhartt’s” these boots will make a great addition.
